Metro-Area Mobile Mental Health Crisis Response Teams: Crisis teams are staffed by mental health professionals 24/7. They can talk with you over the phone or travel to the necessary location and provide crisis stabilization services.

Domestic Abuse Crisis Line: 651/227-8284. 24-hour crisis phone line for domestic abuse that also provides families with many other resources including legal help, emergency housing, public assistance, support groups, and more.
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1/800-273-TALK (8255): Available 24/7 to anyone in emotional distress or a suicidal crisis.
Acute Psychiatric Services: 612/873-3161. A 24/7 walk-in emergency room for emotional/behavioral crises. Services include assessment of immediate needs and appropriate referrals. APS is located next to the emergency department at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Mother/Baby Hope Line: 612/873-HOPE (4673). A free telephone support service for pregnant women and parents of young children. You’re asked to leave a message and a provider will call you back within two business days (not to be used for crisis situations).
Mother/Baby Day Hospital: 612/873-MAMA (6262). The day hospital provides intensive outpatient mental health treatment for pregnant women and mothers of young children who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety or emotional distress that make it hard to function at home, care for themselves, or bond and connect with their baby. Babies 12 months and younger are encouraged to attend with moms.
